For our colleagues interested in touring on our stage and for the future participants of our festival “Irtysh-Bayan” (which will be held in September this year) we have included a special section within the site “Technical Characteristics” in which there is a detailed display of all the parameters of the main stage, the equipment list, the schemes of the auditorium, the stage floor and the lighting equipment.</div><div style="text-align:center;"> The site operates in the Qazaq and Russian languages. Soon the English language will be added.<br /> Our theater is standing in the way of full renovation, and we are setting ourselves the bravest and the most ambitious goals. <br /> We have been working on development and implement of a long-term development strategy. In this regard a new mission of the theater has been formulated, which includes among other theses the following ones: “The Qazaq Theater named after Zh. Aimautov is a modern in spirit and content space in which traditions and modernity, the national identity and an up-to-date global context are seamlessly interwined. It is cramped for the theater to be in the bounds of a standard repertoire model. It represents a small world creating harmony inside and projecting it on its audience, the city and the country. The theater, having its conscious civic, social and artistic responsibility to the citizens, is aimed at self-development and the development of residents of the city by means of special programs, discussions, educational and creative projects and certainly plays in a topical scenic language”. The mission of the theater in this case does not mean that we are already entirely in line with it now. That is how we are to view ourselves in the long run but in the foresseable future and we are taking concrete steps to achieve the set in the strategy goals. And this site is one of these steps. The appearance of the site, its style and design are also reflected in the new mission of the theater. In the header of the site (at the top) and in its footer (at the bottom) you can see some fragments of the painting “On the Way” painted by a contemporary and progressive Qazaq artist Timur Akanaev. The creativity of this artist stands out due to the fact that he uses modern materials and modern techniques in creating his works in which he turns to the national Qazaq identity through the present day prism.
